Split 50-50 Partners are Kick Starting Fundraising in 2019
What an exciting start of the year it has been for Split 50-50! The first month of 2019 has blown by and things are really starting to kick off raffle wise with FOUR events live at time of writing.
The Make A Wish Foundation has already run its first Split 50-50 raffle of the year at the National Briscola Championship. It was a beautiful day on the first Sunday of February down at Serafino Winery in McLaren Vale, where 3 cash prizes were awarded in a first for Split 50-50. The raffle raised $1258 for Make A Wish with prizes of 35%, 10% and 5% bestowed. This exciting new way of awarding prizes gives the purchaser an even greater chance of getting their hands on some cash! A win-win for all involved!
The Woman’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation is hosting a golf day on the 1st of March at the Victor Harbor Golf Club to help raise vital funds for the Beach House currently being built in Encounter Lakes. The Beach House is a major project aiming to provide respite accommodation for families caring around-the-clock for children requiring significant support due to a life-limiting illness. The WCHF is running a Split 50-50 raffle, which is now live at www.split50-50.com.au that will be drawn on the day.
The Frances Folk Gathering is now under two weeks away! The festival’s Split 50-50 raffle is also now live on the website with $590 already in the pot! This year commemorates the 20th year of this very special event celebrating folk arts – let’s help keep that run going by supporting The Gathering through grabbing a raffle ticket or making the trip down to the small village on the South Australian/Victorian border!
Spalding/Booborowie Cricket Club is holding a Split 50-50 raffle celebrating 140 years of existence for the Spalding Cricket Club. The club is holding the annual North Spalding vs. South Spalding cricket game to commemorate the event. It promises to be a great day and an even better night at the Spalding Cricket Ground (SCG) with a cash prize and other great prizes in the raffle.
